Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have lost 1,150 military personnel, 26 artillery systems, and 44 drones in the war against Ukraine, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian from February 24, 2022, to September 9, 2024, is estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 626,410 (+1,150) troops;
  • tanks - 8,639 (+3) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 16,906 (+9) units;
  • artillery systems - 17,830 (+26) units;
  • MLRS - 1,180 units;
  • anti-aircraft defense systems - 942 units;
  • aircraft - 368 units;
  • helicopters - 328 units;
  • UAVs operational-tactical level - 14,897 (+33) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2,588 units;
  • warships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 24,262 (+44) units;
  • special equipment - 3,049 (+2) units.

According to the latest geolocation footage, Russian forces have advanced in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk. However, there is no movement reported in other directions, the Institute for the Study of War says.
