Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 1: +920 troops and +249 drones

Over the past day, from September 30 to October 1, Russian forces lost another 920 soldiers on the front line. Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 13 artillery systems and 249 drones, according to the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total estimated combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to October 1, 2025, are approximately:

Situation on the frontline
As of the evening of September 30, there were 137 combat engagements on the frontline. The enemy launched attacks in almost all directions, with the highest concentration in the Pokrovsk area, resulting in 42 attacks.
"The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Krasnyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Luch, Lisivka, Pokrovsk, Zvierievo, Kotlino, Udachne, Molodetske, Orekhove, and Filial," the General Staff reported.
