Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 2: +1,130 troops and 32 troop-carrying AFVs

Throughout October 1, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 1,130 Russian occupants at the front. Also, 32 armored combat vehicles and 14 artillery systems were destroyed, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to October 2, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 655560 (+1130) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 8887 (+4);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 17579 (+32);
- artillery systems - 18869 (+14);
- MLRS - 1204;
- anti-aircraft systems - 963;
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 328;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 16348 (+26);
- cruise missiles - 2613;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 25692 (+71);
- special equipment - 3318 (+4).
According to the new NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Russian losses in killed and wounded since the beginning of the war amount to 500 thousand.
