Situation on the frontline

Regarding the situation on the frontline, as is known, fierce fighting with Russian forces is currently taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions — this is where the most significant number of clashes have occurred, according to the latest information from the General Staff's evening report of November 13.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, the fiercest battles on the frontline today are ongoing in the areas of seven towns in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

As for Pokrovsk, where the Defense Forces are actively fighting, Oleksandr Syrskyi previously emphasized that there is no talk of Russian control over the city or encirclement of our units. However, RBC-Ukraine wrote that it is indeed difficult for our defenders in Pokrovsk, even because it is hard to coordinate the actions of fighters from different units (the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Special Operations Forces of the National Guard of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, etc.).

At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Bloomberg that any decision regarding the withdrawal of troops from Pokrovsk remains with the commanders on the ground.
