Situation on the front

Currently, the most challenging situation remains in the Pokrovsk direction and in the Zaporizhzhia region, where Russian troops are intensifying and scaling up their assaults.

Weather conditions are conducive to Russian attacks, but Ukrainian units continue to destroy Russian forces.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces were forced to leave their positions near five settlements in two directions in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The pace of the Russian troops' advance in the Pokrovsk area and around the city has temporarily slowed down, but the Russians continue to try to cut off the Ukrainian Armed Forces' logistics routes near Myrnohrad.

Later, Major Andrii Kovaliov, spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told RBC-Ukraine that Ukrainian troops are holding their positions and destroying the Russian troops on the approaches to Myrnohrad and in the urban area of Pokrovsk.
