During the day from November 17 to 18, the army of Russian invaders lost 1,560 soldiers, 107 vehicles, and 99 drones on the front of the war against Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to November 18, 2024, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 722,440 (+1,560) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 9365 (+15);
  • armored personnel vehicle - 19,059 (+38);
  • artillery systems - 20,586 (+30);
  • MLRS - 1252;
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 999;
  • aircraft - 369;
  • helicopters - 329 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 19,073 (+99);
  • cruise missiles - 2,753 (+112);
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • motor vehicles fuel tanks - 29,428 (+107);
  • special equipment - 3,655 (+2).

Situation at front and Russian shelling

According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian invaders advanced in several directions in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

Last night, Russians attacked Sumy with ballistic missiles, and the city lost power.

A few hours earlier, Russians attacked a nine-story building in Sumy. 11 people were killed and dozens were injured.
