Russia's losses in Ukraine as of November 5: +1,260 troops, 29 drones, 43 vehicles

Over the last day, from November 4 to 5, the Russians lost 1,260 soldiers, 2 air defense systems, and over 40 armored combat vehicles at the front, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to November 5, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 701,650 (+1,260) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9208 (+15);
- armored personnel vehicle - 18,581 (+43);
- artillery systems - 20,150 (+29);
- MLRS - 1245;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 996 (+2);
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 329;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 18,309 (+29);
- cruise missiles - 2631 (+2);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 28,278 (+41);
- special equipment - 3,587.
Situation at front and Russian shelling
According to ISW, the Ukrainian Defense Forces advanced in the Kharkiv region and near Toretsk. However, the Russians are putting pressure in 5 directions.
At night, Russia once again launched Shahed drones in Ukraine.
Kyiv declared an air alert twice during the night. Ukrainian air defense forces were working.
Russian invaders also attacked Kharkiv with guided bombs. There are victims.
