In the past 24 hours, from September 14 to 15, Russian forces lost 1,170 soldiers, 20 armored vehicles, and 23 artillery systems on the front lines, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to September 15, 2024, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 633,800 (+1,170) troops;
  • tanks - 8,680 (+6);
  • armored personnel carriers - 17,063 (+20);
  • artillery systems - 18,103 (+23);
  • MLRS - 1186;
  • anti-aircraft defense systems - 947 (+1);
  • aircraft - 369;
  • helicopters - 328;
  • UAVs operational-tactical level - 15,234 (+85);
  • cruise missiles - 2,592 (+1);
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • vehicles and fuel tankers - 24,684 (+53);
  • special equipment - 3,084.

It is worth noting that, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian Armed Forces are making advances in the Kursk region, while Russian forces are seeing success in the Donetsk region.

In particular, the aggressor's troops are focusing their attacks on the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions.
