Frontline situation
Russia is urgently expanding air defenses against Ukrainian strike drones, deploying four new regiments, 24 divisions, and 162 batteries, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi said. He added that Russia plans to produce over 7 million FPV drones in 2026, while Ukraine continues to maintain the initiative and expand its drone warfare advantage.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Security Service struck Russia’s Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery and a key oil pumping station in Perm for the third time, targeting crude processing and fuel logistics facilities more than 1,500 km from the Ukrainian border.
At the same time, Ukrainian P1-SUN interceptor drones for the first time destroyed Russian Gerbera drones carrying FPV strike drones, with Ukrainian crews downing five such targets in a single day.
