Russia's losses in Ukraine as of May 26: Over 1100 soldiers, aircraft and 24 artillery systems
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine for the period from May 25 to May 26 amounted to 1,110 soldiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 501,190 soldiers. Additionally, during the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 17 combat armored vehicles (BAV) and 24 artillery systems, according to the General Staff.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to May 25, 2024, are approximately as follows:
- personnel - 501,190 (+1,110) individuals eliminated;
- tanks - 7,662 (+12) units;
- armoured personnel vehicles - 14,803 (+17) units;
- artillery systems - 12,953 (+24) units;
- MLRS - 1,083 (+1) unit;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 814 units;
- aircraft - 357 (+1) units;
- helicopters - 326 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 10,425 (+11) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,209 units;
- warships/boats - 27 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles & fuel tankers - 17,639 (+31) units;
- special equipment - 2,111 (+7) units.
Last night, the Russian army shelled Ukraine with cruise missiles and the Kinzhal aeroballistic missile. The main attack was aimed at the city of Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region.
Additionally, on May 25, the Russian army shelled Kharkiv. As a result of the strike on the Epicenter hypermarket, 11 people were killed.
Also on May 25, fighters of the 110th Brigade shot down a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Donetsk region.
