Russia's losses in Ukraine as of March 29: +over 1,700 troops and 3 anti-aircraft systems

Over the past day, from March 28 to 29, the Russian army lost 1,740 soldiers, 64 artillery systems, and 23 tanks in the war against Ukraine, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to March 29, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 912,490 (+1,740) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,478 (+23);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 21,796 (+34);
- artillery systems - 25,451 (+64);
- MLRS - 1,345 (+1);
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,122 (+3);
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 335;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 31,234 (+164);
- cruise missiles - 3,121;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- motor vehicles and fuel tanks - 42,398 (+118);
- special equipment - 3,787.
Situation on the front lines and Russian attacks
According to maps from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian forces are advancing in the Belgorod region, while Russian troops are pressing on four fronts.
Overnight, the occupiers launched strike drone attacks on Dnipro.
The attacks caused multiple explosions and fires, resulting in fatalities and many injuries.
