In the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost about 1,200 troops and dozens of armored vehicles. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated the data on the enemy's total losses

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to March 24, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 904,760 (+1,280) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 10,420 (+8);
  • troop-carrying AFVs - 21,652 (+16);
  • artillery systems - 25,129 (+81);
  • MLRS - 1,338 (+5);
  • anti-aircraft systems - 1,111 (+1);
  • aircraft - 370;
  • helicopters - 335 (+4);
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 30,641 (+146);
  • cruise missiles - 3,121;
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 41,726 (+116);
  • special equipment - 3,785 (+1).

Frontline situation and Russian shelling

On March 24, 2025, Russia carried out a massive attack using Shahed strike UAVs and various types of decoy drones. Air defense forces shot down 57 strike UAVs.

Enemy drones were launched from the directions of Millerovo, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia).

On the night of March 24, Russia attacked the Kyiv region with drones. Damage was recorded in one of the region's districts, and one person was injured.

On the night of March 24, Russian occupiers also attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, a fire was recorded, and there was one casualty.
