Frontline situation

Russian forces launched a large-scale assault on seven axes in the Lyman direction, deploying over 500 troops and dozens of armored vehicles. The offensive involved units from the 1st Tank Army and the 20th Combined Arms Army after weeks of preparation and intensified strikes on Ukrainian logistics. Ukrainian forces coordinated defenses across all sectors and successfully repelled the attacks on every front.

Ukrainian forces made their largest territorial gains in over two years after Russian troops lost access to Starlink, according to The Wall Street Journal. The disruption of satellite internet significantly weakened Russian coordination and reduced the effectiveness of their drone operations. As a result, Ukraine regained around 380 square kilometers in key regions while exploiting gaps in enemy communication.
