Russia's losses in Ukraine as of March 10: +over 1,190 troops and 260 pieces of equipment

In the past 24 hours, from March 9 to 10, the Russian army lost 1,190 soldiers, 40 troop-carrying AFVs, and 241 UAVs operational-tactical level in the war against Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to March 10, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 886 320 (+1190) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks – 10 292 (+18);
- troop-carrying AFVs – 21 400 (+40);
- artillery systems – 24 271 (+65);
- MLRS – 1311 (+1);
- air defense systems – 1102 (+1);
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level – 28 603 (+241);
- cruise missiles - 3,120;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 40 071 (+138);
- special equipment - 3,773.
Situation on the front lines and the Russian shelling
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian forces achieved success near Toretsk and Pokrovsk, but Russian troops are intensifying pressure in the Kursk and Sumy regions.
Overnight, Russian forces launched guided airstrikes on the Zaporizhzhia region, causing damage to residential infrastructure and resulting in casualties.
