Frontline situation
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukrainian long-range strikes destroyed more than 60,000 tons of ammunition at a Russian Baltic Fleet arsenal near St. Petersburg, citing a briefing from Ukraine's military intelligence chief. The strike was described as part of efforts to weaken Russia's war capabilities and increase pressure on Moscow.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's Security Service struck military targets in occupied Crimea, hitting infrastructure at the Saky and Hvardiiske airfields and damaging Russian air defense systems near Kerch, including S-400 and Pantsir-S1 components. The agency said the operation further weakened Russia's ability to defend the peninsula.
