Russia's losses in Ukraine as of June 23: +1,000 troops and 193 units of equipment

From June 22 to 23, the Russian army suffered losses of 1,010 soldiers and 193 units of military equipment on the frontline, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to June 23, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 1,012,500 (+1010) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,965 (+1);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 22,872 (+5);
- artillery systems - 29,490 (+58);
- MLRS - 1,423 (+2);
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,188;
- aircraft - 416;
- helicopters - 337;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 41,717 (+138);
- cruise missiles - 3,376;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 52,861 (+127);
- special equipment - 3,920.
Russian missile and drone strike
Last night, the Russian army carried out another combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine. The main targets were Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
First, Russian forces launched a massive strike on the capital and region using Shahed drones, followed by ballistic missiles, and finally, several cruise missiles.
The attack damaged residential and administrative buildings. Fires broke out in several districts of the capital due to impacts and falling debris.
According to the latest data, 4 people were killed in Kyiv and more than 10 were injured.
In particular, the entrance to the Sviatoshyn metro station was damaged during the attack.
