Last night, Russian forces struck a residential building. As a result of the attack, four people were killed and more than 10 were injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS).

According to the latest data from rescuers, 4 people were killed and 13 others were injured as a result of the shelling.

Rescue teams pulled 10 people from under the rubble, including 2 children and a pregnant woman.

The State Emergency Service also released a chilling video showing the destruction of a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district caused by a missile strike.

Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported that 5 people have died so far in a building in the Shevchenkivskyi district as a result of the enemy attack on the capital.

“In total, there are 19 injured in the city. Eight of them are hospitalized in city hospitals. Rescue workers are operating at the damaged building, and medical personnel are on duty,” the mayor stated.

Nighttime missile and drone attack by Russia

On the night of June 23, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with strike drones, as well as cruise and ballistic missiles.

The main targets of the attack were Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Numerous residential and administrative buildings in the capital sustained damage.

In particular, the infrastructure of the Sviatoshyn metro station was damaged.

In the Kyiv region, falling debris caused fires in private homes and damage to a hotel. There is one confirmed fatality and many injured.
