The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine earlier reported that 157 combat engagements took place on the front line on June 20. The fiercest fighting was in the Pokrovske direction, where the enemy launched 47 attacks on the Defense Forces' positions.

Meanwhile, Colonel Ants Kiviselg, Commander of the Defense Forces Intelligence Center of Estonia, stated that Russia is incapable of achieving a breakthrough in eastern Ukraine. He noted that the Russians are compensating for their limited progress with airstrikes targeting Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.
