During the day from July 5 to 6, Ukraine's Defense Forces eliminated 1,260 Russian occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the enemy has lost about 549,840 soldiers. In addition, during the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 11 tanks, 66 artillery systems, and 58 operational-tactical level UAVs, informs the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 6, 2024, are estimated as follows:

  • personnel - 549,840 (+1,260) individuals eliminated;
  • tanks - 8,153 (+11);
  • armored personnel vehicles - 15,629 (+18);
  • artillery systems - 14,897 (+66);
  • MLRS - 1,115;
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 878;
  • aircraft: 360;
  • helicopters: 326;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 11,809 (+58);
  • cruise missiles - 2,351 (+9);
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • vehicles & fuel tanks - 20,053 (+76);
  • special equipment - 2,479 (+6).

On the night of July 6, occupiers attacked Ukraine with 27 Shahed drones. Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down 24 enemy drones.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Russian invaders intensified their activities in the Lyman direction. As of 10:00 PM July 5, there were 119 combat clashes on the front line, with the hottest situation remaining in the Pokrovsk direction.
