As of 22:00 on July 5, there were 119 combat clashes on the frontline throughout the day. Russian forces intensified their activities in the Lyman direction. However, the hottest spot remained in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked five times near Hlyboke and Lyptsi. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled three assault actions by the Russian army. Fighting continues in two locations around Hlyboke, with the situation under control.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance towards our positions near Synkivka five times throughout the day. The Defense Forces successfully repelled four attacks, and the battle is ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy was particularly active today, launching 21 attacks in the areas of Nevske, Serebryanske Forestry, Hrekivka, Makiivka, and Terni. Two clashes are still ongoing, while our soldiers have halted all others. The losses of the Russian forces are being clarified.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy attempted to breach our defense seven times in the areas of Bilohorivka, Spirne, and Vyimka but failed. The situation remains under control.

In the Kramatorsk direction, enemy activity was limited to six combat clashes. Four attacks in the areas of Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Chasiv Yar were thwarted. The Russian army suffered losses and retreated. The situation is tense with ongoing battles in two locations near Kalynivka.

The enemy showed the most activity today in the Pokrovsk direction. Since the beginning of the day, the occupiers attempted 38 times to penetrate our defenses in the areas of Novoselivka Persha, Prohres, Yevhenivka, Kalynove, Novooleksandrivka, Yasnobrodivka, Vozdvyzhenka, and Netailove. Currently, 25 attacks have been repelled, and 13 clashes are ongoing. Our defenders are taking measures to stabilize the situation and prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory.

The Russian forces are concentrating their efforts on advancing towards Novooleksandrivka and Novoselivka Persha. They are suffering significant losses; preliminary information indicates that today, our soldiers neutralized 331 soldiers in the Pokrovsk direction, 123 of them irreversibly. Four enemy vehicles and two guns, including a Russian 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, were destroyed. An additional five different guns and a tank were significantly damaged.

In the Kurakhove and Vremivka directions, the enemy attacked our positions seven times each, showing the most activity around Kostyantynivka. Battles continue in two locations.

Twice, the Russian army unsuccessfully stormed our positions in the Orikhiv direction, near Mala Tokmachka.

In the Prydniprovsk direction, the situation has not undergone significant changes, and no positions or territories have been lost. Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled five attacks by Russian forces on the left bank of the Dnipro.

Regarding the situation in the Toretsk direction, the General Staff has not provided information, although it noted that the enemy was active there today.

In a previous update, as of 16:00, it was reported that the number of enemy attacks in the Toretsk direction had increased to nine. The enemy, supported by aviation, attempted to advance twice towards New York and Toretsk. Four more attacks were launched near Pivnichne. Battles in three locations were still ongoing as of 16:00. Additionally, the invaders carried out five airstrikes in that direction.

The General Staff reported significant Russian activity in the Toretsk direction on July 3.
