Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Friday morning, July 19, amounted to 980 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 564,620. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 55 artillery systems and 42 drones, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to July 19, 2024:

  • personnel - about 564620 (+980) people were killed;
  • tanks - 8250 (+5) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 15902 (+19) units;
  • artillery systems - 15520 (+55) units;
  • MLRS - 1120 units;
  • air defense systems - 894 (+1) units;
  • airplanes - 361 units;
  • helicopters - 326 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 12316 (+42) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2401 (+3) units;
  • ships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 20909 (+76) units;
  • special equipment - 2593 units.

Situation at front

As of the evening of July 18, 107 combat engagements took place in the frontline over the last day. The situation in the Pokrovsk sector remained the most difficult, and the Russians were also active in the Kurakhove and Toretsk sectors.

At the same time, according to analysts of the Institute for War Studies, in recent days, the Russian occupiers have advanced in the Kharkiv region, in Donbas, and south of Ukraine.

In particular, on July 18, it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces withdrew from Urozhaine, Donetsk region.
