Mass flight delays occurred at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport on Sunday evening: according to Russian media, around 50 departures and arrivals were postponed after reports of unidentified drones appearing in the sky over the capital.
Information about the drones began circulating in local social media channels at around 6:00 p.m., after which Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin started reporting the alleged destruction of the aircraft. Against this backdrop, flight restrictions were introduced in the area of the airport.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian units have stepped up their activity, attempting to increase pressure on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions. However, all attempts to approach the city itself have so far failed.
Ukrainian forces remain in control of the situation and are effectively preventing enemy attempts to penetrate into Kupiansk.
