Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine as of Friday morning, January 26, amounted to 900 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 380,600. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 8 tanks, 16 armored personnel carriers, and 15 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 26.01.24 are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 380,600 (+990) Russians were killed;
  • tanks - 6265 (+8) units;
  • armored personnel carriers - 11637 (+16) units;
  • artillery systems - 9082 (+15) units;
  • MLRS - 972 units;
  • air defense systems - 660 units;
  • airplanes - 331 units;
  • helicopters - 324 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 7033 units;
  • cruise missiles - 1845 (+1) units;
  • ships/boats - 23 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 12064 (+20) units;
  • special equipment - 1425 (+5) units.

Frontline situation

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 82 combat engagements took place in Ukraine's frontline over the last day. Russian invaders launched a large-scale attack in the Maryinka direction.

According to a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian military advanced along a section of the front line south of Novomykhailivka (southwest of Donetsk). The Ukrainian Armed Forces also pushed back the Russian occupiers northeast of Zavitne Bazhannia and advanced southwest of Myrne.
