Russia's forces have suffered significant battlefield losses over the past 24 hours, as intense fighting continues along multiple front-line sectors. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 970 Russian troops were killed or wounded, along with the destruction of armored vehicles, artillery systems, and other military equipment.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to February 20, 2026, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel — approximately 1,257,880 (+970);
  • Tanks — 11,684 (+2);
  • Armored combat vehicles — 24,060 (+6);
  • Artillery systems — 37,387 (+3);
  • Multiple-launch rocket systems — 1,649;
