Frontline situation

Russian units are experiencing a mass failure of Starlink terminals, crippling command and control, according to the Atesh partisan movement. Backup communications have failed, while electronic warfare systems are reportedly jamming even Russian radios. The breakdown has already caused chaos and heavy losses, including a friendly-fire incident in the Zaporizhzhia direction that killed an entire assault group.

Yesterday, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said that Ukrainian forces are actively conducting offensive and counteroffensive operations, accounting for about a quarter of all frontline engagements. He added that this strategy has kept Russian troops under constant pressure and prevented them from making any significant operational gains in January.
