Over the past 24 hours, from February 23 to 24, the Russian army lost 1,050 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. In total, for exactly three years of the full-scale invasion, the enemy's losses amounted to 868,230 soldiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 24, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 868,230 (+1,050) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 10,177 (+9);
  • armored personnel vehicle - 21,157 (+6);
  • artillery systems - 23,626 (+44);
  • MLRS - 1,299 (+3);
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,081;
  • aircraft - 370;
  • helicopters - 331;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 26,645 (+217);
  • cruise missiles - 3,064;
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • motor vehicles and tanks - 38,444 (+110);
  • special equipment - 3,757.

As of 10 p.m., February 23, 81 combat engagements were registered at the frontline. The Russian occupants conducted 38 airstrikes using 57 guided aerial bombs In addition, the Russians engaged 928 attack drones and fired over 4,000 times at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russians tried to break through our defense 22 times. Ukrainian defenders neutralized 340 Russian occupants, 190 of them were irretrievably killed, destroyed 13 vehicles, a UAV antenna, a mortar, a cannon, and two buggies. A Russian armored combat vehicle and three cannons were severely damaged.
