Ukraine's defense forces eliminated another 1,170 Russian invaders over the day and destroyed 9 Russian tanks, 16 armored personnel carriers, 35 artillery systems, and 3 air defense systems. Meanwhile, the report of the Ukrainian Armed Forces does not mention the downing of a Russian aircraft Su-25 attack aircraft in the Toretsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening report on February 9 reported that since the beginning of the day 92 combat clashes have already taken place at the front. The Ukrainian Defense Forces also noted that the largest battles were recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kursk sectors.
Yesterday, Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Khortytsia operational and strategic group of troops, said that Russians lost more in a month near Pokrovsk than in the second Chechen war.
