Situation on the front

While Ukraine, the United States, and Europe are finalizing the US peace plan, in which the issue of territories remains difficult, Ukrainian defenders continue to fight Russian forces on the front line.

Two of Russia's strategic objectives — Kupiansk and Pokrovsk — are still under Ukrainian control. However, it became known the day before that Ukraine had lost Siversk in the Donetsk region, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine had withdrawn from the settlement. This became possible, in particular, due to weather conditions — fog allowed Russians to infiltrate the city in small groups.

The situation on the front is indeed challenging — the number of Russians is growing, and it is becoming increasingly complicated, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated during his recent trip to the front.
