Russia's losses in Ukraine as of December 13: +1,300 troops, aircraft and 283 drones

Over the past day, from December 12 to 13, Russian forces lost another 1,300 soldiers on the front line. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed three tanks, 24 artillery systems, and 103 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
From February 24, 2022, to December 13, 2025, inclusive, the approximate combat losses of the enemy amounted to:
- Personnel – about 1,187,780 (+1,300);
- Tanks – 11,409 (+3);
- Armored combat vehicles – 23,714 (+9);
- Artillery systems – 35,032 (+24);
- MLRS – 1,567 (+1);
- Air defense systems – 1,258 (+2);
- Aircraft – 432;
- Helicopters – 347;
- Operational-tactical UAVs – 89,684 (+283);
- Cruise missiles – 4,060;
- Ships/boats – 28;
- Submarines – 1;
- Automotive and fuel trucks – 69,717 (+103);
- Special equipment – 4,026 (+2).
Situation on the front line
As of the evening of December 12, a total of 161 combat engagements had taken place along the front line. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kostiantynivka directions.
It was also reported on December 12 that Ukraine’s Defense Forces liberated the villages of Kindrashivka and Radkivka, as well as several residential areas in northern Kupiansk, in the Kharkiv region.
Situation on the front line
