Russia's losses in Ukraine as of December 8: +810 troops and 530 drones

Over the past 24 hours, from December 7 to 8, Russian forces lost another 810 soldiers on the frontline. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 10 artillery systems, 47 vehicles, and 530 drones, according to the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
From February 24, 2022, to December 8, 2025, inclusive, the approximate combat losses of the enemy amounted to:
- Personnel – about 1,181,680 (+810)
- Tanks – 11,403 (+2)
- Armored combat vehicles – 23,689 (+1)
- Artillery systems – 34,917 (+10)
- MLRS – 1,562
- Air defense systems – 1,253
- Aircraft – 431
- Helicopters – 347
- UAVs of operational-tactical level – 88,457 (+530)
- Cruise missiles – 4,058 (+4)
- Warships/boats – 28
- Submarines – 1
- Vehicles and fuel tanks – 69,182 (+47)
- Special equipment – 4,018 (+3)

The situation on the frontline
As of the evening of December 7, 139 combat engagements were recorded throughout the day. The Pokrovsk axis was once again the hottest, with the enemy attempting 46 attacks.
"The enemy attacked in the directions of Nove Shakhove, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, and in the areas of the settlements Novoekonomichne, Hryshyne, Kotlino, Udachne, Dachne, Filial," the report said.
