Russia's losses in Ukraine as of August 6: +1,050 troops, 39 artillery systems, and 36 UAVs

Over the last day, from August 5 to August 6, the Russians lost 1,050 soldiers and 39 artillery systems at the front, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to August 6, 2024 are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 585,140 (+1050) troops;
- tanks - 8421 (+4);
- armored personnel vehicles - 16,294 (+8);
- artillery systems - 16,384 (+39);
- MLRS - 1138;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 910;
- aircraft - 365;
- helicopters - 326;
- UAVs operational-tactical level - 13 158 (+36);
- cruise missiles - 2,420 (+6);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 22,148 (+54);
- special equipment - 2738 (+1).
According to ISW, the Russians have advanced in the Toretsk sector and are putting heavy pressure on the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Pokrovsk.
Last night, Russia attacked the Kharkiv region.
On the evening of August 5, Russia launched ballistic missiles on Kyiv. Loud explosions were heard in the suburbs of the capital.
