Russia's losses in Ukraine as of August 27: +1,280 troops and 52 artillery systems
As of the morning of August 27, Russia's total combat losses since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine amount to more than 610,000 troops. In the last 24 hours alone, Russia lost 1,280 troops, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the Russian army from the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, to August 27, 2024, are as follows:
- Personnel: about 610,100 (+1280) troops
- Tanks: 8563 units (+12).
- Armored personnel vehicles: 16,667 (+19).
- Artillery systems: 17,495 (+52).
- MLRS: 1,173 (+1).
- Anti-aircraft defense systems: 937.
- Aircraft: 367 units.
- Helicopters: 328 units.
- Operational and tactical level UAVs: 14,254 (+120).
- Cruise missiles: 2,547 (+103).
- Warhips/boats: 28.
- Submarines: 1.
- Vehicles and fuel tanks: 23,613 (+58).
- Special equipment: 2,944 (+3).
According to Ukraine's General Staff, 170 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the Russian occupiers were recorded on the frontline over the past day on August 26.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian troops are preparing to resume assault operations in Vovchansk to restore lost positions, unblock the Aggregate Plant, and expand the zone of control.
