Russia's losses in Ukraine as of August 22: +1,130 troops, 46 artillery systems, and 96 UAVs

Over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,130 soldiers, 3 air defense systems, and 96 operational and tactical UAVs at the front, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to August 22, 2024 are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 604,140 (+1,130) troops;
- tanks - 8,529 (+7);
- armored personnel vehicles - 16,567 (+25);
- artillery systems - 17,262 (+46);
- MLRS - 1,166;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 931 (+3);
- aircraft - 367;
- helicopters - 328;
- UAVs operational-tactical level - 13,998 (+96);
- cruise missiles - 2443 (+1);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 23,280 (+59);
- special equipment - 2,904 (+17).
According to ISW, Russian troops are advancing in three directions in the Donetsk region.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are slowly advancing in the Kursk region.
