Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 3: almost 1,400 troops

In the last 24 hours, from April 2 to April 3, Russian forces lost 1,390 soldiers and a multiple launch rocket system on the front line, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to April 3, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 919,570 (+1,390) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,521 (+6);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 21,902 (+22);
- artillery systems - 25,625 (+49);
- MLRS - 1,348 (+1);
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,123;
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 335;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 31,597 (+92);
- cruise missiles - 3,123;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 42,775 (+88);
- special equipment - 3,787.
Situation on front and Russian attacks
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Defense Forces had success near Pokrovsk, but the Russians are pressing on three fronts.
At night, Kharkiv experienced its fifth drone strike of the week. In one area, warehouses, private houses, and traffic lights were damaged.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov noted that in March, the number of Russian attacks on Kharkiv doubled.
