Frontline situation

Ukraine carried out a series of coordinated overnight strikes targeting critical Russian military and energy infrastructure both in occupied territories and inside Russia. Ukrainian forces destroyed multiple ammunition depots in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, hit a fuel storage site, struck a command post in Zaporizhzhia, and targeted concentrations of equipment and logistics hubs in Bryansk, Rostov, and Kherson regions.

At the same time, SBU drones hit a key oil transit facility in Russia’s Samara region, damaging five large crude storage tanks and sparking a major fire. The site is crucial for blending and exporting Urals oil, meaning the strike could disrupt supply chains and reduce Russia’s energy revenues.

Overall, the attacks appear aimed at weakening Russia’s battlefield logistics and cutting financial resources that support its war effort.
