Russia's Black Sea fleet reportedly attacked in Crimea
The night of May 27 was eventful in Crimea. There were reports of explosions in Simferopol, and a large-scale fire broke out in Sevastopol, according to the Telegram channel Crimean Wind.
Initial reports came in of powerful explosions in Crimea at Cape Fiolent, followed by reports of explosions in Simferopol, where Russian air defense systems were operating at the Tavriya Thermal Power Plant.
"This is the third powerful explosion at Cape Fiolent in 10 minutes; it sounds like incoming strikes," the channel reports.
Crimean Wind reports gunfire and explosions on the northern side of Sevastopol. There was also heavy activity near the Kacha and Belbek airfields.
Toward morning, explosions were heard again in Simferopol and in Sevastopol. After four powerful explosions, smoke began to rise in the area of Sevastopol Bay and Sapun Mountain.
In addition, a Crimean Wind follower reports a strike on the building of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Air Force headquarters on Hohol Street in Sevastopol, where a fire broke out.
"As we previously reported, following the destruction of the Black Sea Fleet’s main headquarters, the Air Force headquarters is being used as the primary command center," adds Crimean Wind.

On May 16–17, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s strategic secure communications hub, a border patrol ship, a Tor-M2 air defense system, and other key Russian targets.
Back in early May, Ukrainian reconnaissance units struck Russian military trains in Crimea that were being used to transport equipment and fuel.
