In temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukrainian intelligence operatives struck Russian military trains used to transport equipment and fuel, according to the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR).

HUR stated that the operation was carried out by the Prymary (Ghosts) special unit. According to intelligence data, in April 2026, Ukrainian special forces conducted five precision strikes on railway logistics facilities used by the occupying forces.

During the operation, locomotives of freight trains transporting military equipment and fuel for the Russian army were hit. One of the fuel tank cars was also struck.

HUR noted that the strikes were carried out directly while the echelons were in motion.

Ukrainian intelligence also released video footage showing hits on Russian targets in Crimea.

"Systematic combat work aimed at cutting and complicating the logistics of the Russian aggressor continues. The armed struggle continues," the intelligence service said in conclusion.

Earlier, the HUR Prymary special unit carried out a large-scale operation in temporarily occupied Crimea, during which two large landing ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet — Yamal and Nikolay Filchenkov — were put out of action.
