Russia is once again accusing Ukraine of violating ceasefire agreements. This is being done to divert attention from the crimes committed by the Russian state against Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

The General Staff noted that today the Russian Ministry of Defense is spreading false statements about Ukraine allegedly "violating" ceasefire agreements concerning energy facilities.

"The enemy is doing this solely to shift global attention away from the crimes that the Russian state is committing against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people," the General Staff emphasized.

According to their data, the Russians have made up new disinformation accusations about allegedly 14 "attacks" by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on Russian energy infrastructure throughout April 4.

"The 'attacks' are fake. In reality, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are conducting fire strikes exclusively on military targets of the Russian occupying army," the General Staff stressed.

At the same time, the Ukrainian military noted that it is the Russian forces who continue to demonstrate their insane nature, cynically ignoring any agreements and carrying out ruthless attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and ordinary cities and villages.

Strike on Kryvyi Rih

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recalled that yesterday, April 4, Russian terrorists committed another war crime by launching a horrific strike on Kryvyi Rih with an Iskander-M ballistic missile equipped with a cluster warhead.

"This barbaric attack, aimed at causing maximum damage over a wide area and large numbers of people, resulted in the deaths of 9 innocent children and 9 adults. Another 38 people sustained serious injuries. The total number of wounded is 62, including 12 children," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

In addition, according to the Ukrainian military, over the past day, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 92 Shahed-type strike UAVs, dropped 171 guided aerial bombs, and used artillery 6,353 times.

As a result of the insidious enemy attacks, civilian and critical infrastructure in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, and other regions of Ukraine were damaged.

"The military department of the terrorist state once again resorts to false accusations, trying to shift its own responsibility for prolonging the war and the deaths of people onto Ukraine," the General Staff emphasized.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed hope that the world will not believe Russian lies and will condemn yet another series of brutal Russian war crimes.
