In June, Russia increased the number of air strikes launched at the territory of Ukraine by 1.6 times, according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Russia is currently increasing the number of personnel involved in a full-scale war against Ukraine, as well as the production of missiles and drones. Ukraine, in turn, is resorting to symmetrical and asymmetrical moves, looking for new tactical and technological solutions to counter terrorists.

"Over the past month, the Russians have increased the number of airborne weapons - missiles and drones - fired at the territory of Ukraine by 1.6 times. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit about 4,000 targets," said Syrskyi.

He added that one of Ukraine's priorities today is to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of the air defense system.

Russia's attacks against Ukraine

Since the beginning of the war, Russian troops have been regularly attacking the territory of Ukraine. The enemy uses various types of missiles, artillery, guided aerial bombs (GABs), and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Civilian infrastructure is often targeted, which poses an additional threat to ordinary citizens.

The Russian military resorts to drone attacks every night. For example, on the night of June 8, the enemy attacked with 4 S-300/400 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 54 Shahed attack UAVs and imitator drones.
