On the night of July 8, Russian troops launched 58 air targets against Ukraine. Enemy strike drones hit five locations, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

In particular, the enemy attacked with 54 Shahed strike drones and decoy UAVs, and also launched 4 S-300/400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the territory of the Kursk region.

Russian troops launched drones from the following directions: Kursk, Oryol (Russia), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).

As of 08:00 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 34 enemy drones, including:

26 - shot down with firepower,

8 - jammed or disabled by electronic warfare systems.

"Strikes by enemy UAVs were recorded in 5 locations," the Ukrainian military said.
