Russia nationalizes over thousand recreation bases on Sea of Azov - NRC
Russian forces are planning to nationalize more than a thousand recreation centers along the Sea of Azov. These processes began in the early days of the full-scale war, reports the National Resistance Center (NRC).
In particular, the Zaporizhzhia gauleiter, Yevhen Balitsky, stated that over a thousand recreation centers along the Sea of Azov have been deemed abandoned. With this designation, it is expected that these properties will be nationalized soon. Notably, the deadline for registering real estate with Russian authorities is set for January 1, 2028.
Balitsky justified this act by citing attracting tourists and creating new jobs.
The NRC added that the enemy began seizing real estate at the onset of the full-scale war, especially along the Sea of Azov.
"They started taking over sanatoriums and recreation centers from the first days of the full-scale invasion. Initially, they seized the most luxurious facilities and transformed simpler ones into barracks for Russian soldiers," the resource specified.
In September, the National Resistance Center reported that, in addition to buildings, Russian forces in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine plan to confiscate land plots.
