Russia massively strikes Ukraine's Sloviansk with guided bombs, killing mother and child

On the morning of Tuesday, February 10, Russian troops launched an air strike with guided bombs on Sloviansk, killing and wounding several people, including a seven-year-old child, according to the mayor of Sloviansk, Vadym Liakh.

Russian strikes on different parts of the city
According to Liakh, around 10 a.m., Russia attacked the city with guided aerial bombs. Hits were recorded in different areas, and info on the extent of the damage is being clarified.
Killed and wounded
8 people are known to have been wounded, including a 7-year-old child. One of the strikes hit a private house - rescuers recovered the bodies of a woman and a child born in 2014 from under the rubble.

Police reveal details
According to police, 14 people are known to have been injured as a result of the Russian guided aerial bomb strikes. Paramedics are working at the scene.
One of the private houses was destroyed - it was there that the bodies of a woman and her 11-year-old daughter were recovered from the rubble.
Private houses, a service station, a boiler room, and non-residential premises were damaged. The number of victims and the damage are being clarified.

Russian strikes on Sloviansk
Russian troops regularly shell Sloviansk because the city is located near the front line.
On December 28, during the day, Russia launched three air strikes on the private sector of the city. As a result of the Russian attack, one person was killed, and three others were wounded. Earlier, on December 6, Russian troops also dropped an aerial bomb on Sloviansk, damaging about 10 houses and cars; 6 people were injured at that time.
On January 24, the city was attacked by Russian FPV drones, injuring 2 children aged 16 and 17.
