Russia massively strikes Ukraine's Nizhyn: Devastating consequences reported

Yesterday evening and this morning, October 16, Russians terrorized the civilian population of Nizhyn with strike drones. The Chernihiv region police showed the consequences of a massive Russian attack.
"Yesterday evening and this morning, the Russians struck the city of Nizhyn with drones," the statement says.
The strikes damaged residential high-rise buildings, shops, cars, and civilian infrastructure. Fires broke out in several areas.
According to preliminary data, one resident was injured. Police, rescuers, and other emergency services are working at the sites of the strikes.
Law enforcement officers are recording the consequences of the strikes and collecting evidence of another war crime committed by the Russian army. Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - war crimes.

Russian strikes on Nizhyn
In recent months, Nizhyn has been under attack by Russian drones almost every day. Russia systematically attacks critical infrastructure and energy facilities.
On the evening of Wednesday, October 15, Russians carried out a massive drone attack on the city. 2 residential buildings were hit, as well as a building housing a store and a branch of Nova Poshta.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine published photos of the aftermath of the Russian drone strike on Nizhyn.
This morning, news of a new attack emerged. According to local authorities, Russia struck one of Nizhyn's enterprises.
