Russia massively strikes Kyiv region: New details and consequences revealed

At night, Russia launched a massive strike on the Kyiv region, hitting residential buildings, medical facilities, and other civilian infrastructure, according to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv regional military administration.
"Russia has once again cynically struck peaceful settlements: residential buildings and even hospitals. The alarm in various districts of the region lasted over 12 hours," he said.
According to the head of the regional military administration, damage was recorded in four districts:
- Fastiv,
- Obukhiv,
- Brovary,
- Vyshhorod.

As a result of the Russian strikes, the regional clinical hospital located in Kyiv was damaged: about 50 windows were broken, window frames and doors were damaged, and patients were temporarily transferred to another medical facility until the restoration of this one is complete. In addition:
- 19 private residential buildings were damaged,
- 1 apartment in a high-rise building,
- 4 cars were damaged.
A 33-year-old man was injured in the Fastiv district. He suffered cuts to his chest and legs from the Russian strike. He has already received all necessary medical care at a local hospital and is now under outpatient observation.
However, the consequences of the Russian attack continue to be recorded. The regional military administration is working with local authorities and partners to provide assistance to people and repair the damage as quickly as possible.
"Russia is trying to terrorize the population of the Kyiv region by attacking residential areas and medical facilities. But no strikes will break our resilience," Kalashnyk emphasized.
Russian attack on Kyiv
Last night, Kyiv was again hit by a large-scale Russian attack. In the Darnytskyi district, a Russian rocket hit a five-story residential building, destroying one of the entrances.
It is preliminarily reported that a Russian strike hit the third or fourth floor, causing significant damage. RBC-Ukraine prepared a report from Kyiv after the Russian attack.
Due to the Russian attack, traffic has been temporarily blocked on a number of key streets, and about 500 rescuers and 1,000 law enforcement officers are working at the scene.
The strike damaged civilian infrastructure and caused injuries and deaths. Rescue services continue to clear the rubble and provide assistance to the victims. The authorities are urging Kyiv residents to remain in shelters and follow safety rules.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already responded to the Russian attack and called on international partners, including China and Hungary, to take decisive action against Russia's aggression.
