Russia massively strikes energy infrastructure in Ukraine's Chernihiv: Power outages reported

On Friday, September 26, Russia continues to attack energy facilities in Chernihiv and the region, according to the Chernihiv regional military administration.
Russia struck several targets. In particular, power outages have been reported in Chernihiv and the Chernihiv district.
"Stay in safe places. Air defense systems are operational," the statement says.
Today, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of Russian drones to both Chernihiv itself and the region's settlements.
In addition, Ukrainian Railways reported that due to a power outage, a number of suburban trains in the Chernihiv region are delayed.
The following trains are delayed by over 40 minutes:
- Train No. 6308 Chernihiv-Nizhyn stopped at the Muraviika station
- Train No. 6305 Nizhyn-Chernihiv stopped at the Veresoch station.
"We are working on the possibility of resuming movement. In case of changes, we will inform you," the company says.
Chernihivvodokanal state company warned city residents several times today to stock up on drinking water. This was especially true for those living in high-rise buildings.
Russian strikes on Chernihiv
Over the past few days, Russia has been terrorizing Chernihiv and the Chernihiv region with strikes. In particular, yesterday, Russians attacked Chernihiv with drones.
The head of the Chernihiv city military administration, Bryzhynskyi, said that the Russian attack targeted critical infrastructure.
The city of Nizhyn also came under Russian strikes, leaving it without electricity and water after the Russian attack.
