Russia loses practically entire company of soldiers every day in Kharkiv direction - Ukraine's Forces

On the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces lose about 100 killed and wounded every day. That is practically an entire company, states the spokesman of the Kharkiv Operational-tactical group, Pavlo Shamshyn, during a national telethon live broadcast.
"Only on our front, they (the Russian forces — ed.) lose approximately 100 people killed and wounded every day — that is practically an entire company, and in a week, it’s already more than a battalion, but that does not stop them," Shamshyn said.
According to him, the enemy troops continue active assault operations.
"Even the Russian army will sooner or later face the concept of exhaustion, and when that happens, the Russians will probably be in for a surprise. Hopefully, a very unpleasant one," the spokesman added.
Shamshyn noted that the Russian army has a numerical advantage, and their current tactic is to stretch the Ukrainian defense.
The Russian troops try to attack in various places, and two weeks ago they launched active operations in the area of the settlement of Milove — northeast of the village of Velykyi Burluk.
"They really crossed the state border there and tried to move toward the village of Ambarne but were stopped; then they changed the direction of their movement and tried to advance toward the village of Khatnie but were also stopped. They try to stretch our defense, looking for weak spots, and if they think they manage to find such a weak point somewhere, they will concentrate their infantry there to develop success," the spokesman said.
He informed that in the past day, the enemy stormed Ukrainian defenders’ positions five times in the areas of the village Zelenе and the city of Vovchansk.
"The Russians mostly attack with small infantry groups of three to five people with active drone support. Vovchansk itself is practically wiped out; there isn’t a single intact building there. Meanwhile, the Russians continue shelling the city with artillery, heavy systems, and multiple rocket launchers. But the main threat in Vovchansk now is drones — the Russians have an extraordinary number of them, and they are very active," Shamshyn added.
Situation on the front
According to the General Staff, the situation on the front remains tense. Over the past day, July 14, there were 185 combat engagements.
The Russian troops attacked most heavily in the Pokrovsk direction.
Russian invader losses amounted to 1,230 personnel over the past day.
Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed three tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 52 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, 245 operational-tactical level drones, and 122 units of enemy vehicles.
