As of today, July 15, the Russian Federation (RF) has lost more than 1,036,000 personnel since the start of the full-scale war, according to the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of Russia from February 24, 2022, to July 15, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel – about 1,036,290 (+1230) people wounded/killed;
  • tanks – 11,022 (+3) units;
  • troop-carrying AFVs – 22,993 (+6) units;
  • artillery systems – 30,346 (+52) units;
  • MLRS – 1,440 (+2) units;
  • anti-aircraft systems – 1,194 units;
  • aircraft – 421 units;
  • helicopters – 340 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level – 45,880 (+245) units;
  • cruise missiles – 3,491 units;
  • warships/boats – 28 units;
  • submarines – 1 unit;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks – 55,147 (+122) units;
  • special equipment – 3,932 (+3) units.

Situation on the front

According to the General Staff, there were 185 combat clashes on the front line over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 11 enemy personnel and equipment concentration areas, two artillery systems, and five enemy command posts.

Recently, fighters from one of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) units carried out a successful special operation behind enemy lines near the state border with Russia, during which they captured one prisoner of war.
