Soldiers from one of the Special Operations Forces units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a successful special operation behind enemy lines near the state border with Russia, according to the Special Operations Forces (SOF).
According to the SOF, Ukrainian troops stealthily infiltrated deep into enemy defenses, where they carried out special actions. As a result of the raid, enemy personnel were eliminated, and one Russian serviceman was captured. The operation was completed without any losses on the Ukrainian side.
"The SOF continues to carry out the most difficult missions exactly where they’re needed most — with precision, determination, and no compromise," the video caption reads.
Russian losses in the war
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost over 1.035 million personnel. In the past 24 hours alone, its losses increased by another 1,130 soldiers. Additionally, the Defense Forces destroyed:
– three tanks;
– four armored fighting vehicles;
– 51 artillery systems, among other equipment.
