Russia loses more than 10,000 soldiers in Ukraine for third week in a row, Estonian intelligence says

For the third consecutive week, Russia has been losing over 10,000 soldiers, including killed and wounded, in the war against Ukraine. This has already become a trend, Colonel Ants Kiviselg, head of the Estonian Defense Forces Intelligence Centre, said at a briefing, ERR reports.
Russia is losing 10,000 soldiers every week
Kiviselg announced the current losses of the Russian army in the war against Ukraine.
"For the third week in a row, Russia has lost more than 10,000 troops, including both wounded and killed. This week's average daily losses are around 1,600 troops, meaning that just over 11,000 were lost over the course of the week," Kiviselg said.
He noted that Russia is losing more troops on the battlefield than it can recruit.
Strikes on oil refineries
Kiviselg also cited a report by the International Energy Agency (IEA). According to the report, Ukraine's long-range strikes have deteriorated the condition of Russian oil refineries. Western sanctions are also hampering efforts to repair the damage caused by the attacks.
The IEA estimates that Russia's oil refining capacity will remain 30% below pre-war levels for the next 18 months, he said.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Russian military losses on the front increased significantly in early July. Russia lost more than 1,400 troops during a week.
It was also reported that Estonian intelligence had calculated the losses caused by Ukraine's long-range strikes on Wildberries warehouses in Russia. The damage could reach $2 billion.
