On the night of September 15, the Russians launched three S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 84 drones of various types against Ukraine from five directions. Air defense shot down most of the targets, but strikes were recorded, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

According to the Ukrainian military, that night the enemy used three S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 84 strike drones of various types, including about 50 Shahed UAVs.

Launches were carried out from the territory of Kursk, Belgorod, Bryansk, and Oryol regions, as well as from the Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk areas in Russia.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled the attack.

As of 09:00 a.m. Kyiv time, the air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 59 kamikaze drones of the Shahed, Geran, and other types over the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.

At the same time, three S-300 missiles and 25 drones struck 13 different locations.

Attack on Ukraine

On the night of September 15, the enemy attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with kamikaze drones. Six drones were shot down by air defense forces.

Strikes were recorded in the Yuriyivka community of the Pavlohrad district. A large-scale fire broke out there, and a transport enterprise was seriously damaged.

The city of Apostolove in the Kryvyi Rih district also came under fire.

Russia also struck an agricultural enterprise in the Sumy region. Around 30 units of equipment were damaged, and 12 workers harvesting crops were injured. Eleven men were hospitalized, one of them in serious condition.

In addition, explosions sounded in Zaporizhzhia. Before that, a missile threat had been declared.
